AHS Students Recognized by School Board

 

The Alleghany County School Board held its regular monthly meeting at Alleghany High School on Monday, November 18, 2013. During the meeting, the Board recognized nine AHS FFA students participated in the FFA Forestry Field Day competition.



FFANine Alleghany County High School FFA students were recognized by the School Board for their participation in the Forestry Field Day competition.  Pictured left to right are School Board Chairman Ben Truett and the following AHS students: Kyle Clark-1st place in the state log throw; Matt Nicely-1st place in the state bow saw; Paden Gibson-log roll; Caleb Armstrong-log roll; Robert Cook-2nd place in the state cross cut saw; Ethan Herwald-2nd place in the state cross cut saw.
