School Board Recognizes Student Achievement


    The Alleghany County School Board held its regular monthly meeting at Falling Spring Elementary School on Monday, November 21, 2011.  At the meeting, the Pledge of Allegiance was led by students in the Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes. During the meeting, the Board recognized 33 Falling Spring Elementary School students who scored 600 on an SOL test during the Spring testing period
