February 6-10 is National Breakfast week.
The theme for this year is "Take the School Breakfast Challenge."
Parents are encouraged take the challenge and talk to their students about how a good breakfast is important for learning and staying alert. It has been proven that students who eat breakfast learn better.
The month of March is also National Nutrition month. We continually strive to serve food that meets the nutritional needs for our students, and we encourage parents to visit their students and have breakfast and lunch with them. School breakfasts and lunches are designed to meet the Federal guidelines but also be very appealing and tasty.
Come celebrate with your child for these events. Just call the school and let them know you are coming.
